Breyer Construction and Landscape, LLC (BC&L), a Reading, PA-based residential remodeling company, led the list of companies recognized in the Greater Reading Emerging Entrepreneur Awards Program. BC&L was one of 13 companies honored at the Greater Reading Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s (GRCCI) annual awards dinner, held at the Santander Performing Arts Center on May 8, 2014. The program, sponsored by the Chamber and Herbein + Company, Inc., recognizes the area’s top-performing and exceptional sole-proprietors and small business owners in our community.
Among other companies to be honored at the ceremony, in order, were CertaPro Painters of Reading, Dans at Green Hills, Environmental Cleaning Concepts, Rothenberger Insurance Services, Laughing Rock Technology, Suzy Rae Design, Smith Law Group, LLC, Berks Digital Inc., Dave Roche Electric Inc., Moyer – Drabick and Associates, Ltd., The Spine and Wellness Center, and Seth Walizer State Farm Insurance.

Criteria for participation and recognition in the Greater Reading Emerging Entrepreneur Program include that companies have revenues exceeding $250,000 in the most recent fiscal year; have an averaged positive revenue increase over the past three years; have been in operation at least three full years; be a current Chamber member and not qualify for the Top Business Award threshold of $1 million in sales for the past three years.
